LeClair Consulting was founded by Jorge LeClair. Originally the company primarily worked with non-profit, educational and social enterprise clients; however, after much success the company expanded to also serve start-ups and small businesses. Whether a client needs to impress a venture capitalist or venture philanthropist, the common need is to be able to persuade investors/funders with a strong business plan/strategic plan backed by a credible team. Business Development Experience

Jorge is an experienced Business Development Consultant with a focus on the ICT (Information Communication and Technology) sector specializing on solutions for raising capital, commercialization strategy and relationship building. His experience includes business plan writing, winning start-up business plan competitions, conducting market research and obtaining R&D as well as new media grants.

Non-Profit Experience

As a Grant Writer, Jorge has successfully worked on projects that obtained funding in excess of $400 000. Jorge provides full spectrum grant writing services – grant research, program design, proposal writing and funder presentations. Additionally, his experience includes capital campaigns, galas, conferences, communications and audits.  Jorge is passionate about increasing social capital in communities through creating youth, educational, environmental, entrepreneurship and social enterprise opportunities. Jorge enjoys the passion and the sense of achievement that comes from knowing that his work matters because it helps clients change communities for the better.
